  I'M A CELEBRITY   THE ARCHIVE

Fri 5 Dec 2008
The Judges of this year's Farm Business Food and Farming Industry Awards recognised the commitment the winner of this award has given to tackling the tough issues faced by the British countryside and farming industry. Janet Street-Porters no-nonsense view of food, farming and traceability - as demonstrated during Channel 4's series The F Word - impressed the judges. Janet says her passion for British food and farming stems from living in the Yorkshire Dales for the past 30 years and she sees it as her mission to get British consumers to eat locally produced, top quality British food and to support the UK farming industry.
